Joe Hayes
Joe is an experienced entrepreneur who created the acoustic rendered holography technology. His early career involved founding PASSAC with work on pitch detection (Guitar MIDI), acoustic guitar amplification (the EC1, IM1), and the artificial acoustic voicing for electric instruments (Tucker Barrett Violins, AGR). His academia covers electronic engineering and postgraduate acoustics. His thesis research is the psychoacoustics of the Musical Instrument Digital Interface (MIDI). Although his academic records for acoustic are high he felt the classical teaching of psychoacoustics did not paint a complete picture. From the pursuit of closure came the breakthrough on correcting (focusing) Quadratic Residue Diffusers (QRD) and inturn using them for holographic reproduction.
